Elk Pedestal Mount at Smith's TaxidermySmith's Taxidermy has been serving the public for 6 years.  Throughout the past 6 years, I have not only served our customers but our community as well.  I feel that it is important to be actively involved in the outdoor community because I have met some of my clients during many outdoor activities.

Smith's Taxidermy prides itself with customer service excellence and quality work that is completed in a timely manner.  I aim to capture the most lifelike mount without sacrificing craftsmanship.  I hope that I will be able to serve my
clients and our community for years to come.

Ruffed Grouse Strut Taxidermy at Smith's TaxidermyThe outdoors has always been a big part of my life.  As far as I can remember, I have always wanted to be actively involved with nature and wildlife.

I am continually trying to learn as much as I possibly can about the great outdoors and the wildlife in it.

Upon graduation from West Branch Jr./Sr. High School in Morrisdale, PA, I attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy where I graduated with a certificate of Taxidermy training in 1999.

In October of 1999, I became a licensed taxidermist in the state of Pennsylvania.  I then apprenticed under Dave McBride for 2 years.  I then left my apprenticeship and worked full time at my shop where I have been working for the last 6 years.

Turkey Taxidermy at Smith's TaxidermyMy love of the outdoors and wildlife is what allows me to provide my customers with the best service possible.  Every mount is treated like it is my own and quality is never sacrificed.

It is my ultimate goal to provide you with a mount that is like none other.

I hold my work to the highest standards and my list of references (available upon request) are a testament to those standards.

I would like to thank you in advance for allowing me the privilege to work with
you and create for you a memory that will last a lifetime.

Sincerely,
Eric L. Smith
